Over the past several months, I have been searching for a functioning webcam in Necochea to display on my blog. I finally found one that works...sometimes. If you're very patient and/or lucky, you'll catch a live glimpse of one of the city's beautiful beaches through this webcam, brought to you by the fine folks at the daily newspaper, DiarioNecochea. Apparently the plan is to set up several cameras around the city, but I'd be pleased if this first cam worked reliably. Enjoy the view!

Hi Katie,
How wonderful that you're excited and well prepared for your move! My only bit of advice, which you probably already know, is to get an apostille on your birth certificate and to have and FBI background check done, not a local one. The NY consulate steered me wrong on these and I feel like I'll never get a visa.
I'm sure you're beyond this, but feel free to drop me a line if you have any expat questions.
I look forward to reading more about your adventures! Suerte!
Thank you for visiting, meag! I appreciate the advice, and I think the preparations for my move are coming along nicely. Thanks for the open offer of help. :) Saludos!
